Cronulla Sharks Toyota Cup team – Round Twenty-Six 2009
This is the team that will play the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 5.15pm on Saturday September 5th at Toyota Stadium.
Nathan Stapleton, Cass Aiga, Elih Baillie, Ricky Leutele, Daniel Perkins, Trent Grubb, Jason McGrady, Jake Anelzark, Lancen Joudo, John Viiga, Luke Latham (C), Ahmad Ellaz, Ian James, Blake Williamson, Josh Toole, Haydn Peacock, Dane Snelson, Cameron Dunstan.
At the start of the 2009 season, Cronulla Sharks Toyota Cup regulars Haydn Peacock and Joe Roqoko were in the Cronulla Sharks SG Ball (under-18s) team. Joe Roqoko played under-18s representative football this year, but was lost to the Toyota Cup side after being injured a few weeks ago.
Chad Townsend, also a Cronulla Sharks Toyota Cup regular in 2009, was part of the NSW Under-18s halves combination with 2010 Shark Albert Kelly, that destroyed the Queensland Under-18s.
Chad is currently the half-back for the semi-finals bound Cronulla Sharks NSW Cup side. He has gone a long way since round one of the 2009 season, when he was the five-eighth and captain of the Cronulla Sharks SG Ball (under-18s) team.
