This game was very similar to the round 25 Toyota Cup game from the previous weekend. Although the scoreline indicated a thrashing, the first 15-20 minutes of the game showed the Cronulla Sharks youngsters matching their opponents. All of the Sharks’ points were scored in this first 15-20 minutes of the game.
After this, it was all one-way traffic by Souths, as it was by Manly in the previous weekend’s game.
