This is the team named to play the New Zealand Warriors at 7.30pm on Saturday March 20th at Mt Smart Stadium.
Nathan Stapleton, Isaac Gordon, Ben Pomeroy, Blake Ferguson, Luke Covell, Trent Barrett (C), Scott Porter, Kade Snowden, John Morris, Luke Douglas, Grant Millington, Anthony Tupou, Paul Gallen, Adam Cuthbertson, Josh Cordoba, Albert Kelly, Paul Aiton.
When are you going to drop Slovell and Droperoy? Barrett too is terrible. He would only be usful these days as a blind side lock forward. Disgraceful Cronulla.
I think the club has a hide to continualy ask supporters for money (sponsorship) and patronage when the team at best is reserve grade quality.
What do they expect – I feel very sorry for standout players such as Anthony Topou and Paul Gallen who are trying to lift the team but they are reserve grade quality.
Don’t get me wrong, each player in the sharks squad is trying their guts out – but its not their fault they have not got first grade ability.
Whoever is responsible for recruitment needs to not only be sacked but sued in a court of law.
I can’t see myself and my young bloke going to a game until the roster improves – how is it possible we are spending our cap.
