Prop forward Inoke Tapaatoutai was named in Rugby League News NSW Cup Team of the Week for round 8. Half-back Josh Lewis is currently leading the NSW Cup Player of the Year table and he is the top pointscorer in the NSW Cup.
Although originally named in the Cronulla Sharks NRL team (as 18th-man) for round 8, hooker Stuart Flanagan played in this game.
